Pumpkin cookies

Pumpkin Cookies

Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cups Butterscotch Chips    1 Teaspoon Seasoning - Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder    1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 Teaspoon Seasoning - Salt    2 Cups Flour - All Purpose
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract    1 Cup Pumpkin Puree
1 Cup Sugar - White    1/2 Cup Shortening

Cooking Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Cream the shortening and sugar and then stir in the pumpkin and vanilla.
In a seperate bowl sift the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon; stir into the
creamed mixture.
Add the chips.
Drop a teaspoon at a time on pregreased cookie sheets.

3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven.
Allow cookies to cool for 1-2 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
