I do my menu 21 days at a time ... and it has allowed me to feed a family of 4 for under $200 every 3 weeks!

Breakfasts: Fruit, yogurt, cereal, or a bagel

Lunches: Chicken nuggets, fruit, treat

Snacks: Cheese and crackers, raisins, ham and cheese rolls

Dinners: On Mondays we do breakfast for dinner, Tuesdays is a crock pot meal, Wednesdays is usually a chef salad and baked potato or grilled cheese, Thursdays is leftovers from Tuesday, Friday is grilled meat or a casserole (make enough for leftovers), Saturday is usually pizza night since hubby works late, and Sundays is either Italian or Mexican for lunch with Friday's leftovers for dinner.

Hope that helps!

I have cleaned my husbands side of the closet several times to no avail! He fills up his laundry basket and almost the entire closet floor with his clothes. What would you suggest for his dirty clothes beyond the one laundry basket?

I'm a single mom and I work at home plus I'm starting my own WAH business too. I have a 5 yr old at home with me all day. I'm trying to find a way to do two things:

1) Make myself a home office with very little space or money

2) Set up a play area for the 5 yr old to keep her from tearing the place apart while I'm working by making it easier for her to clean up and know where to put things

Great article. I am a neat freak, but the rest of my family does not share this same uniqueness. It drives me nuts!

First of all, you are so lucky to get to go to BlogHer! I wish I could go. Second, I've been sending you emails but they keep getting returned saying they've been blocked by Barracuda Firewall. I would call, but it seems I have relied for too long on my caller id keeping your number in its system. Thanks!
